By alien, I mean an extra-terrestrial being, preferably like the cartoons depicting them as "little green men" w/weird faces & bodies. But if they had aliens, you think they'd be human enough to throw-up? (or vomit or puke or whatever ya call it wen stuffs comin outa yer stomach thru yer mouth) or do weird people not even do that cuz their stomach is differnt?

How can we be so sure that it has no end? Infinity just does not seem like a scientific answer for a distance of area. It is so abstract. If it is infinite doesn't this mean that there are an infinite number of planets and galaxies? Wouldnt this leave an infinite amount of possibilities for atmospheres and lifeforms?

If the big bang started from one concentrated amount of matter, then the matter in space is finite. Therefore, does matter stretch out into areas of space that simply contain nothing?

sorry for all the questions. I guess the subject just really interests me.

It is not possible to travel by the speed of light and it may take us several light years to reach another civilization. However, if we were to simply aquire the capability to change the dimension we are living in, we could move from one world or universe to another. Your comments please?

Black holes can be thought of as sort of electro-magnetic "grounds" between different neighboring dimensions; even points of contact between the "= & -" of inter-relating membranes of matter and energy. They may be pathways between different Dimensions or Universes but we'll never know firsthand in our lifetimes at least. They are pathways to the "lost" dark matter and energy scientists can't seem to find yet.

I heard that all of the stars in the sky represent other galaxies; they could be other suns.
Is this true? Or what do you think?

In a previous posting, regarding manned satellites beyond the Van Allen Belts, Paul G. mentioned "The international space station is in LEO (low earth orbit) and is an area of space between 200 and 1200 km and within the Van Allen belt. Any higher and the astronauts would be affected by the radiation and could suffer serious health side effects. The astronauts that went to the moon purposely piloted their craft through a weaker area of the Van Allen Belt to minimize their exposure to the radiation." If NASA has no suits to protect the space travelers from the deadly life threatening gamma and x-rays such as those present at Chernobyl, then how is it possible that those traveling through a similar force field of radiation, as is present in the Van Allen Belts, able to survive? Where is this "weaker area" which Paul G is referring to? The belts are very thick (miles deep). How does one avoid that in a space suit?

Conspiracy theorists loudly trumpet their claim that moon landings were faked. Given that the moon has little atmosphere to speak of I would think it would be fairly easy to find and photograph artifacts from earlier missions.
