If the universe began as a small speck (roughly 13 billion years ago?), why is primordial light from the edges of the universe just reaching us now? If that light existed near the beginning of the universe, would it not have been much closer to us and reached us much sooner? I assume the universe is not expanding at nearly light speed (in which case the light would be trying to reach us but the distance kept expanding as it approaches); but did it expand rapidly at first and then slow down?

I read that the sun rising time changes on a fairly consistant 3-4 minute difference, but the moon rises 30 to 70 minutes different each morning. Why the 30 to 70 minute difference?

I understand theroretically to travel through time one must exceed the speed of light BUT the faster you go approaching the speed of light the greater your mass becomes, therefore one would cancel out the other.

Yet there was the sucessful yet horrific results of the Philadelphia Experiment documented! It ended with Tesla expressing his utter disgust and anger that it was done with humans on board the USS Eldrige... His rage was not unwarranted when one considered the inter- dimensional experience drove many of them mad and worse in spite of the successful invisibilty cloaking..the horrors are unimaginable live men and metal merged!!

If the moon were to turn red (not during an eclipse), would there be some scientific explanation for it? Like, is there any reason or process that could or has happened that the moon would turn red? Also, same question for the sun turning black. But I'm mostly wondering about the moon.

Does Nasa plann on cleaning up the space Junk we have flying around in orbit? You would think that would become dangerous for future space missions leaving the atmosfear. they say there are some bolts and nuts flying at speeds over 25,000 mph. check it out:

I'm looking for something that would be rare on Earth, but not important. Something that we don't really need down here, so there isn't any need for us to go and get it from the moon.

I strongly agree with this statement.I dont get like how to consider time as one of the dimension. How is that time-space get curved or watever. It is so confusing. So facts seem to be stranger than fictions 4 me!!!!!

What I'm referring to, of course, is the question of human reproduction in space. How does the absence of gravity and atmosphere affect the act of sex, pregnancy and childbirth? Does anyone know if NASA has plans to experiment with it? Or have they already experimented?
