It is not possible to travel by the speed of light and it may take us several light years to reach another civilization. However, if we were to simply aquire the capability to change the dimension we are living in, we could move from one world or universe to another. Your comments please?

I've been into string theory for some time now. Despite the WAG's posited by Greene, Witten, et al., I personally do not believe in 11 dimensions and parallel universes. I think it is a major flaw in science to find equations that predict things that in all likelihood can never be tested; and then claim those equations are a theory for everything.

I tend to believe that we live in a four dimensional world: x,y,z, and t. I also tend to believe that physics will someday come up with a 4D model that will in fact unify the four fundamental forces (weak, strong, electro-magnetic, gravity) as well as "predict" the classic physics particles like muons, gluons, photons, gravitons, etc.

I believe the one dimensional finite length string is the fundamental flaw. In fact, the membranes of M theory are already showing the flaws in strings. The shape of the fundamental particle that spewed out of the big bang is more complex than a string. Once mathematicians learned to solve these more complex shapes, I believe we'll find they can and will predict the four forces, but within the constraints of our real four dimensions...not eleven.

I think that it is quite possible that multidimensional worlds exist. I always had a theory that the most accurate way to communicate with another civilization is via some sort of mental form.

in accordance to Quantum technology there are 11 dimensions (which they say as 10+a million dimensions via fact they are 10 sensical and one chaotic for stability). I have not have been given any reason to no longer have self belief that.

i believe there are multidimensional worlds. Our scinetific knowledge gained is too inadequate at present to contradict what has been told in various mythologies of various religions be it be genesis chapter of bible, pusphaka vimana of Ramayana of Hindus or the dragons of the chinese flying to other worlds.

If we were to simply grow wings we could fly. You can postulate the existence of anything if the premise is an "if."
