3.8 Billion Years Ago
This is when the first geological age of earth began, the Archean Eon. Commonly accepted as the point that earth stopped forming and began cooling down.
4.5 billion years ago it is said the earth's core and moon form and the point where the sun reaches it's largest size.
4.6 billion years ago the solar nebula forms and this is when the earth began forming.
So, any one of these could be said to be the point, in time, when the earth started.

Starting Point? Just go over to 0,0
For longitude all lines are numbered from the Prime Meridian which runs through the Greenwich Observatory, in London, which is zero longitude.
Latitude is measured from zero at the equator.
So to find zero longitude and zero latitude, I start in London and go south until I hit the equator.
It is a spot in the Atlantic Ocean off the West coast of Africa, west from the Congo, and south from Burkina Faso.
