You take the exponent and bring it down in front of the X and then......I can't remember. I think you subtract 1 from the exponent or something.

Long story short, I am going to make a homemade telescope, and attempt to see Saturn (yeah, another Science Fair project=P). Anyways, I have searched and searched for a way to make one, or at least suggestions on how to make one, but have come up with nothing solid. I don't want to construct this little thing of cardboard, that will only be of some use in seeing the moon. Does anyone know any websites, or anything, that may be of some help?

suppose you have a flashlight in one hand and a mirror in the other. turn on the flashlight and photons of light will travel towards the mirror. BUT, when the photons hit the mirror, they will reflect. This implies that while hitting the mirror, the photons decelerate to 0 m/s and continue to decelerate to -c (negative speed of light). In other words, light reflecting off of a surface must reach 0m/s. But doesnt this defy the second postulate of special relativity (light always travels at the speed of light)?

I need to find the limit as x--> infinity of cosx/3x, When I look at the graph I see that the function is obviously periodic and oscilates between higher and higher values of y the further you get from the origin in either dirrection. How can I use the squeeze theorem to find the limit of cosx/3x as x goes to infinity?

Whenever you hear talk about aliens, its always about them being so advanced, and so amazing.

Who's to say we arn't 10x as advanced as them?

Are humans just so slow intellectually compared to other "beings" out there?

And why are we always like, when are THEY gonna find us?

More like when are WE going to find them!

think about that!

I am looking to purchase with a friend an 18 acre field, and we will own half each. Although we will share it, we want to divide it exactly in half with fencing in case of any future problems. the field is an irregular shape, although all the fence lines are straight. We would like to divide it with one straight fence. How do we work out where to put it?

According to the Mayan calander, time ends or something happens. The earth will be exactly in the middle of the milky way and hence gravitational forces could change the magnetic location of the north pole and other geophysical changes could happen relatively quickly. What do you think?

Probably it sounds like a vague or ridiculous question for some of you. However, it is sad that if you find out who you were in your ''previous life'', you would know how to break a chain or infinite circle where you're repeating your mistakes over and over.
Please, answer me without laughs but with at least some tolerance and respect.
