I can't seem to work through these proofs. Please help.

1) sin2x = 2cotxsin^2x

2)(sin^2x)/(sin^2x) = 4-4 sin^2x

3)cos^4-sin^4x= cos2x

4)cos^2 2x+4sin^2xcos^2x = 1

Seems to be a line drawn that God and Science cannot exist together. How do you decide what is proof for literal belief? Touch, sight, or agreement? Can you describe your "proof" of how the Cosmos began existance other than by the three mentioned? Isn't that the point of discussion, if everything were absolute would there be need of furthing proof? Are we in a catch 22 in agreement?

I know they sell rock salt in stores for snow. But could you use table salt to melt the snow if you happen to run out of rock salt?

Has anyone ever tried using table salt for that purpose? Did it work?

I recently purchased a digital timer to connect my outdoor holiday lights. Reading the fine print on the back of the timer it says not to exceed electrical ratings.

Here are the electrical ratings:
125VAC, 8A resistive
125VAC, 600 Tungsten

I can find the voltage information for all of my holiday lights, but I do not how much voltage this timer can handle.

Can anybody provide me with basic information as to how much voltage this timer can handle? I want to make sure I do not overload the timer.

By 2012 it was passed by congress to end the use of our everyday Lightbulb. Will be switching to the CFL bulb. I actually think that this is a good idea to conserve Energy. However you'll notice that when you turn them on it's takes about 10-15sec. for the bulb to gain full lighting power. This kind of stinks when you have this light in the restroom. I tried it, and then switched back. Hopefully by 2012 the CFL will light up to full capacity faster. Other than that I use CFL's pretty much everywhere else.
