I get 14.66 ohms, but I did it by hand. Parallel resistors are the reciprocal of each resistor added together, then the answer is reciprocated. The answer will ALWAYS be smaller than the smallest resistor. Your best answer based on that would be (b) = 15 ohms, but the actual answer is much smaller based on calculations.

Ohm's law:
1/Rtotal = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3...

In speaking, we say "The inverse of the sum of the inverses." It crops up in physics and statistics a lot!

14.638 is the right answer.

the above answer is correct but you did
not state
ohm's law. Ohm's law states that voltage is proportional to current at a constant temperature.
