ok...so i did a lab in chem. and i dont understand two of the questions..well first things first...we are determining the formula for magnesium sulfate...

i already posted this once but i have another question...

i also meant to ask why it is necessary to let the evaporating dish cool before measuring the mass?

Suppose you are looking at a sample of pond water, and your see a single celled organism swimming in the water. It's green, and moves quickly.
Hey! I have an answer to this, but I'm not sure if it's right! :)


There's a clear picture of a nucleus, but you can't see any other organelles with your compound light microscope.

In what kingdom does this organism belong? What other characteristics do you expect this organism to have?

I have to review for an assessment test for college and I have absolutely no rememberance of what these mean. Does consistent mean they have the same solution times infinity?

Some questions I'm working on:

Question 1:
x + 2y = 9
2x - 3y = 4

Question 2:
x - 9 = y
y+ 2 = x

Question 3:
x + 3y = 20
x + 6y = 40






Just curious as to how I solve and determine what they are. Do I use substitution or elimination? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I went on an investigation where a man reported a bright light appearing in the woods behind his house and floating around in the woods going around trees going to the very top of the trees and then ending if a enormous bright flash.The reason i am asking this question is i can only find reports on these types of lights associated with popular paranormal hot spots(ie..Marfa lights,brown mountain lights...).I can't find any information on an individual seeing these on their own property.So i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this phenomanon

why should the mass of the evaporating dish be measured immediately after it cools, and not later?

i dont know that one...

and it said to use a desiccator but my class didnt...

how would my results be affected if we would have used a desiccator when cooling the evaporating dish and contents?
