What was it and have you tried to disprove its validity?

Yes. I saw the figure of a man pass by a bedroom door frame at my aunt's house when I was younger.
Actually I tried to prove the validity of the person (and experience) as that I asked my aunt who was in the house and when she said no one I assumed she was lying and immediately searched the house (via Scooby-Doo techniques). When no person was able to be located (not even a single secret passage or hollow wall) I concluded I did not see a living human being.

Since i am a Paranormal Investigator, i have many experiences....

here recently My team and I went on an investigation and to our astonishment it was the first time this type of an experience happened (intelligent tapings from a presence)... We heard similar claims at this business we were at where the owner heard some noises in the room and she asked since she had seen stuff on TV such shows as "Ghost Hunters, Paranormal Documentaries etc. if it was intelligent it would communicate well she asked please tap once for yes and twice for no and she had asked do you want us to leave and it tapped once.... We had asked this same spirit or entity because we heard similar noises in the same room to what she heard and describe and we asked could we ask you questions and it tapped once and asked it few more got some no's and some yes's , we figured it had to be the plumbing or animal or heater(furnace) or something but everything was working properly and there were no animals around, so can i say it was truly a night of experiences i got the rest written down on my report but i won't list all right now to much if you are curious you can visit my site all my reports are on there and so is this one from this investigation i was referring to, but there is so much activity i have experienced through out my life!

When I was in the 7th grade, I was rushing down a set of stairs, and fell. I hurt my ankle, and apparently passed out. I have a distinct memory of seeing myself lying on the floor, slumped over in a sort of sitting position, with my face down, one leg out in front and the other under me, covered by my skirt. I recall looking back into the face of a boy who was coming down the stairs several seconds behind me. I saw him put his hand on my shoulder, shake me, and say, "Are you okay?"
The next thing I recall is waking up back up the stairs on the cot in the library. The principal was using smelling salts to wake me. There is no way I could have actually seen the boy's face, let alone my own body from above.

For a long time I thought it was a paranormal "out of body" experience. After reading more about how dreams function, I decided that perhaps I was simply supposing what would have happened and "making it so" in a very vivid dream like state while I was unconscious. The fact that I had a crush on the boy probably influenced that he behaved with concern for me in what I "saw." Talk about wishful thinking! He probably jumped over me so he could be first in line for lunch!

When I was young I used to believe that weird things were happening to me all the time.... I even thought our house was haunted. As I got older and learned more about science, I came to realize that every single thing that had happened could have been explained by conventional means. This didn't prove that nothing paranormal had ever happened to me, but I didn't see any reason to jump those kind of conclusions when more logical and mundane reasons were available.

Yes, I have had several, and I don't try to disprove them. I accept them for what they are. This is the most recent one.

While my husband was dying last year his mother was here in the house with us for months (she passed away more than 20 years ago). I felt her comforting presence many times, and she was seen on 4 separate occasions by 4 different people.

Most of the time she stayed in the upstairs hallway - I was very aware of her there. Sometimes she came into our bedroom. When my husband was sleeping he would sometimes smile and wave to someone, and I always believed it was her. At other times he spoke to me as if I was beside him, when I was actually on the other side of the room.

I talked to her a number of times, and the last time I talked to her it was to tell her that her son, my husband, was no longer in the house as he had gone to palliative care. I think she was a bit confused about where he was, as we had often left the house for hours or days at a time, but until then he had always come back. At that time I told her that she needed to come with me and I would take her to him, and she did come with me, and I never again felt her in the house.

The last interesting part about this story is that I just got back to my house a few days ago after being away for three months. For those three months I was very sad, but since I have been here in the house I know that I feel different - settled, content. It is as if my husband is here - something is making me feel more content, and I believe in some way, it is him.

I once saw myself from outside my body at night when I was half-concious and had an odd feeling, like the time and place had lost their meanings and I was just staring at myself from 10 feet away, from the corner of my room.

No, I've never tried to disprove it since it's exciting like now that I have something to tell you know!

Well, you asked....

I'm not really sure what it is but....
Ever since I can remember, I've always had like....A Deja Vu kind of feeling, and have had dreams, that have happened the next day, and cases where I'm even awake!!!!
I've tried to except it but have never told anybody about it.
Reasons why are because my family would most likely think I'm seeking attention, crazy, or possessed by the devil!!!!
The reason I'm telling you this is because if you know anything about stuff like this, please let me know....Am I sick, crazy, or what??!!

Often after that we would here the front door slam shut. My father in law had died about five months before this all began, our belief was it was him coming for a visit.
