I am a senior taking Chem II AP. It's okay, and i have an A in that class, but the thing is is that i don't have any passion or drive for chemistry. I was just taking it as a sort of "oh well, i'll never take it again EVER, so let this be a last farewell".

You see, my passion is biology, especially botany. I want to become a botanist, but i read somewhere that most botanists minor in chemistry. Can someone clear this up? do i have to minor in chemistry to become a successful research botanist?

There is a bright blue star I saw tonight. It's quite bright and twinkles way more than all the others. I'm saying where I live so I can best decribe where it is with my limited knowledge of the sky. I live in Gulf Shores, AL. It is in the Southeastern part of the sky. Not way up, but not real close to the horizon either. Not a lot of other stars around it. Even with the din of light from my town, it is quite bright. It also has tinges of red when it twinkles. Does anyone know what I'm seeing? I'm very intrigued.

What are good sites for this project, our question was " How does CO2 affect hurricanes and frequecies ". I don't understand the frequency part but its something like how CO2 in the atmosphere affects hurricanes. More like does it affect it or not and if it does what is needed in order for it to happen. I have been searching for information and couldn't find anything good. Hope you guys can help me!

Someone mentioned this in my other question. We used to be told to "listen to" our conscience. Can a conscience talk? I don't think so. So that "inner voice"...is it just a feeling or a voice? So if most of us were taught to listen to it...why do people say people are schizophrenic when they hear voices? Do you think that parents and teachers and churches shouldn't be allowed to tell kids to listen to their conscience(since it's said to be a mental illness.)

square both sides
(4m-4)^2=(4m)^2
16m^2-32m+16=16m^2
subtract 16m^2 from both sides
-32m+16=0
-32m=-16
m=1/2
