we have a project about natural selection and the 6 steps that go with it and my teacher told us not to use giraffes and darwins finches because we went over that in class?

I don't know if this will count, but bacteria and anti-biotic resistance. With people using all of this anti-biotic soap we are selecting for the anti-biotic resistant bacteria.

You could also do the peacock. The males' beautiful display was selected for because the females always mated with the hottest guys.

All wild animals go though natural selection. You might look at the relationship between caribou and wolves. The Iniut believe that god made caribou and then made wolves to keep the caribou healthy.
