Okay so let's say one part of the DNA strand is ACA (Adenine Cytosine Adenine). When the messenger RNA replicates it, would the mRNA make another ACA or do a complementary strand UGU (because Uracil replaces Thymine?)

I wonder if there is enough similarity between neural processes that the brainwaves for something simple like, say, the color red, or the taste of an apple, could, if amplified and fed via electrode into another persons head, be perceived as a real sensation? What fascinating possibilities that could open up! Especially if the signals could be recorded. Is any research being done in this area?

An object weighing 300 N in air is immersed in water after being tied to a string connected to a balance. The scale now reads 265 N. Immersed in oil, the object appears to weigh 275 N. Find (a) the density of the object and (b) the density of the oil.

I am unsure of how to proceed with this problem. This is non-calculus based physics so fluidic resistance and mass of the string are negligible. A full solution would be great but the first few steps to how to do it would suffice. And before anyone starts thinking "Oh great another kid who cant do his own work", I am a student taking this physics as an elective. My major is business management and I am doing this because I enjoy it. Thanks a lot for the help!

- Is it possible to make yourself 'die' during an operation, through holding your breath?
- Why does your body twitch when you are under? (Eye movements, face rolls around) even if you have had a muscle relaxant
- Is it possible to stay awake for major sugery (reconstructions, brain, transplants)
- Why do doctors sometimes have to make you "die" and make your blood pressure drop/freeze temperature ?

Thanks!!!!

Pardon me 4 oversimplifying the question, but what I mean is which countries have the standard four seasons & which countries define their seasons by how often it rains or something. Certainly, a place like Connecticut would have the typical four seasons. Here in Bakersfield, we just have one really long hot summer, & a bleak & rainy (if not foggy) winter. What would the seasons be like in the tropical areas like Hawaii, Caribbean, or Southeast Asia? I think the Caribbean defines their season by the hurricanes; I do believe hurricane season has ended this month. I could use some 411 on what the seasons are like in your neck of the woods if you're willing 2 respond.
