A programme on Sky News recently claimed computers are now producing as much CO2 as aircraft; I am at a loss as to the mechanism by which this happens.

Just curious. Why did the US invested in the development of the shuttle? For that matter, 4 shuttles? What did they bring? In fact, it seemed during the 80s, a lot of attention have devoted to the shuttle development and other space programs were scaled back. Shouldn't they have continued their moon missions, or send ship to other planets? Why did they devote their time only to the shuttle?

In fact, the irony is that, the shuttle is now on the verge of retirement!

Solve for 0 ≤ Θ ≤ 2π
cos Θ = 1/4

I got one answer which is ~1.32 by taking the inverse cos of 1/4 and converting to radians, but my book gives me another answer which is ~4.97.

Also, is my method correct?
thanks

I read somewhere that black holes have such strong gravity that it even "sucks" in light, thats why it's called a black hole, and therefore they are basically invisible. So if we can't see them and obviously can't go near them, how did scientists find them or know about how they work.

when I say 'space'. I include all galaxies, etc...
Since we know space is finite - think of all of 'space' as a bubble.
What kind of demension/plane of existence, etc.. do you think is beyond the "bubble" we call space?
When I was a teenager, I took LSD and had it all figured out...I forgot all about it when I came down.
