A:B = 4:9 = 24:54 (got by multiplying by 6)
B:C = 6:7 = 54:63 (got by multiplying by 9)

A:B :: 24:54
B:C :: 54:63

therefore A:C ::24:63

or 8:21 (got by dividing 3)

LCM(9,6) = 18

A/B = 4/9
B/C = 6/7

A/C = A/B * B/C
= 4/9 * 6/7
= 4/3 * 2/7
= 8/21

A:C = 8:21
