Scientists, mainly cosmoligists, say that matter cannot travel at a speed faster than that of light. why does light travel at the EXACT speed that matter can travel as fast as? Also, my theory is that since time slows down the faster than you go, in other wordsa the speed of light, that light experiences no time, so if you did go that fast, you wouldnt age. another thing is could it be that light tries to travel faster, at infinite KPH, but it can't because of the speed it has reached. can someone pleasen explain this to me?

ps: the odd thing is that im only 13 and want to know about this....im kind of weird. but please answer and try to use an adult answer with scientific words so i have more details. thank you!

If NASA is so great why can't they figure our global warning or cooling whichever you believe or how to 300 miles out of a gallon of gasoline, now that would really impress me.

Suppose players A, B,C play a game. Each writes an integer from 1 to 10. If A writes i, and B writes j, and C writes k, the payoffs to each player are the following:
A's payoff is |i - j|
B's payoff is |j - k|
C's payoff is |k - i|

Find the Nash equilibrium.

I am really having trouble with three person games, so any help on how to find it would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to find examples of different kinds of energy. If you can help me in anyway, I would be thankful for even the littlest bits of help.

Here are the types of energy:
Magnetic Energy, Sound Energy, Light Energy, Heat Energy, and Atomic Energy.

What I am looking for are examples of these different kinds of energy.

These are some other kinds of energy I am looking for to find examples but I don't NEED them as much as the others.

Mechanical Energy and Electrical Energy.

If you have help or answers to any of these kinds of energy, please help me out!!!!

okay this is my hypothesis for a lab i had to do in biology:
If the carrot is placed in a high fructose solution then it will gain mass.

for the lab there were three carrots in three different cups, one cup had a high sucrose solution, the 2nd had a med. sucrose solution, and the 3rd was a low sucrose solution. the cups have the same amount of solution
i never got a chance to finish so does anyone know if it would actually gain mass? or what the result would be.. ?

Not quite sure how to approach this problem.. not even really sure if I know which part the axle is.. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

A 12.0kg box resting on a horizontal, frictionless surface is attached to a 5.00kg weight by a thin, light wire that passes over a frictionless pulley (View Figure). The pulley has the shape of a uniform solid disk of mass 1.50kg and diameter 0.540m.

After the system is released, find magnitude of the horizontal and vertical components of the force that the axle exerts on the pulley.

btw.. the moment of inertia for a disk is I=(MR^2)/2
