Imagined: Yea i got one of those too.(Cotton bags that is.) Gave it to my daughter. She uses it for school. I truly think Yahoo needs to keep pushing the "Green Energy and Conservation" movement. This ,in my opinion is a very good thing. And is most assuredly worth everyones time to ask as many questions as they can about what can be done to make it even better and even more exposed. The more it is exposed, the better.

I do not get anything from Yahoo except trouble with service every so often! Right now they are only delivering about half of my offline messages!!

I dunno, distributing something fragile that contains appreciable mercury is not to my mind the best thing environmentally. It may be a few years, but it will become a real replacement problem. Tungsten lamps are only a glass hazard, not a chemical and biological one as well. Many phosphors also contain rare metals that can be hazardous, or at least used to...the long 40 watt tubes had beryllium as well as mercury.

And I am not for saving energy when it bankrupts me, especially in government regulations on what I can and cannot do with lighting.

I am not against the use of the compact florescents, just do not believe they are a total solution to the energy and pollution problems. Beside, so many I see are made in China, and there goes more of our money to China to pollute with over there.

Looks like another Lose-Lose situation for the USA overall. What will it profit us if we go totally efficient in lighting, but China forecloses on our huge debt to them?
