Whenever I get kits or books about electronics, they don't explain what every little part in a circuit is used for and how it completely works, it gives a more overall, genral type explanation.

And the more advanced kits explain the details even less. I want to understand the details, what every little component in the circuit is used for, so I know enough to make my own circuits.

How can I do this?

Would a hospital usually tell you the full genotype of your blood type (ie AO or AA instead of just A)? And when would they most give you this info? (ie when you're born, when you go in for a check-up, etc).

Just to add....Yes, I know they have the techniques and COULD give you the genotype, but I want to know if it is common for them to actually disclose your genotype without you having to ask. thanks!

Prove that the line x = 1 + 2t, y = -1 + 3t, z = 2 + 4t is parallel to the plane x - 2y + z = 6.
What is the distance between the line and the plane?

I'm looking for the name and a website (or wiki entry) on an ancient form of forestry. It entails cutting the tree down (but not completely) for use as wood source, but leaves enough trunk behind to grow saplings out of. The saplings are pruned until the strongest grows to become a new tree, and the process repeats. I remember reading about this being practiced in England, and it being a multi-generational form of sustainable forestry being practiced even in ancient times. It is still being practiced by a few people today.

Name, and reference site, please.

I changed a compressor on an old kenmore and got it all checked, no leaks and held a vaccum. The filter has a tap on it to access the system. I charged with suction with 3.75 oz as it says and it still will not run correctly. What could it be?

When they're not praying for what the person wants or needs...but for what THEY want to happen in the person's life.(even if it seems like a good prayer..it might not be what that person wants or needs and would even be harmful to that person..even tho the pray-er doesn't realize it)(Maybe that's why Jesus said ,"Pray for yourselves and for your children.")

I know it's a very inexact question: I'd like to see a general science book that leads me in the direction of advanced material. I'm not looking for elementary level books (with generalisations), but the real explanation, made as readable as possible.

In addition, more specific topics:

Geology of rocks, history of geography
Wind directions
Physics
Botany
Natural Sciences, Classifications
