SO FAR WE HAVE FOUND NOTHING.....
some say we found bactiria,
http://www.lpi.usra.edu/lpi/meteorites/s9612609.gif
but this shape was actually formed from minrals on the surface (not alive and not even dead bacteria)

right now, we don't know, but there are signs that there used to be water... thats why we've been spending billions of dollars exploring mars..... all in the name of life (with supported evidance of water)

as you can see water is the key.

no so far there's been around 8 flights to mars, each ending with robots on the surface searching for life on mars.....

none have been sucessful yet.

The Pheonix ship is on its way to the frozen poles to search for more signs of life and it expected to land May 25, 2008

LIFE ON MARS?

People have always liked to believe that life is possible somewhere else in the universe.Although missions to Mars attempt to discover the history of the planet, its formation and its geological activity (such as volcanoes and Marsquakes), probes are also sent there to find life.

There are many reasons for and against life existing on Mars. Here they are:

AGAINST:

1. Mars' thin atmosphere is made up mainly of Carbon Dioxide (95.32%). This is the poisonous gas that also makes up most of Venus' atmosphere.
2.There is very little water on Mars. Only 0.03% of its atmosphere contains droplets of water.
3.Mars is known as a "self-sterilising" planet. Its surface is saturated by ultra-violet radiation by the Sun.

FOR :
1.Mars does have water in its atmosphere. It may only be a small amount, but could provide life to certain living organisms that need very little water. Also, water in the atmosphere and strong evidence that water once flowed around the planet, suggest that there may be a possibility of liquid water deep under the surface.
2.Missions to Mars show the planet to be made up of many rocks and pebbles (more evidence of water!) similar to ones on Earth.
3.A face and two hearts have been discovered on Mars. People believed that the face could have been created by advanced beings!
4.If Mars did have water, it will also have had a thicker atmosphere.
5.A piece of rock from Mars, which landed on Earth when a meteor hit Mars and scattered its rocks, contains signs of life. Small fossils and evidence of a basic once-living micro-organism provided the strongest proof yet that life did once exist on Mars billions of years ago

Although the search has only just begun, so far the only life forms found appear to be bacterial. The evidence is not yet conclusive. These have been found on meteorites which have been determined to have come from Mars.

Yes, we may have not found it yet.
Would they tell us if there is?
Wouldn't this contradict the Bible's Genesis?
Some say yes, some say no.
But just in case the Religious Fanatics would have a fit, maybe they don't want to tell us.
