1st assumption: on sale for 25% of original selling price:
= $899 * 25%
= $224.75

Answer: $224.75

2nd assumption: on sale for 25% discount on original selling price:
= $899 - ($899 * 25%)
= $899 - $224.75
= $674.25

Answer: $674.25

if the computer is sold on 25% discount, ite selling price
= (1 -- 25%) cost price
= 75% of $899
= $674.25

if the computer is sold at 25% profit, its selling price
= (1 + 25%) cost proce
= 125% of $899
= $1123.75

25% of 899 is $224.75. So -- if it is selling for 25%, that is the price.

However, I suspect that you did not state the problem correctly -- and it is selling for 25% off. In that case, subtract 224.25 from 889 to get the price of $664.25
