imagine an object of mass m oscillating, through a small angle, around an axis at point A, which is located a distance D away from the object's centre of mass, cm.
T is the period of oscillation.

how am i meant to show that this object's moment of inertia through the centre of mass, and parallel to the A axis, is given by

I = (MD/4π^2)(gT^2 - 4Dπ^2)

i havent got a clue how to do this, can it be clearly explained please?

thanks.

I meen why not establish moon first before travel to Mars this way use moon as base is it me? why travel 6 months into unknown instead of a short distance to moon?. it serves more then a few purposes. The more travels to moon the more confident We as a people would be comfortable in space. and once established on moon can open to civilians like example ice truck transport folks in Alaska pay and use there expertise in extreme conditions to transport basic goods to folks already on moon.The job market would open up a whole new areas of jobs to fill. then we could finaly say we are space fareing people.

Robotic Landers landing on Mars use parachutes in order to slow them down before reaching the surface of Mars. With the air pressure being so low is it air or something else that makes using the parachutes effective?

Also can parachutes be used to land on any other body in Solar System except Earth and Mars?

Wet fluorescent Magnetic Particle test is done in circumferential butt weld joints including heat affected zones from inside: 100% "T" weld joints from inside, 00% weld joints for nozzles, 100% support columns - pad plate to shell: 100%. Why this is done in an LPG sphere? Is their any other method also to do this?

you know in calculus books when they want to estimate the volume of a shape in an interval like [a,b] they devide this interval into too many suintevals. then there will be too many rectangles. then they rotate each rectangle. and then they use cylinder's volume as a defined volume to find the total volume. (like an axiom)
my teacher said that in fact it's proven why the volume of a cylinder is that.
can you help me find it?

noting that coffee never tastes as good as it smells.....

Do the aroma-producing compounds responsible for the aroma of freshly made coffee
evaporate, into the air, at a lower temperature than what remains for drinking, in the cup as liquid, and is it possible, to fractionally distill JUST THIS particular fraction at a temperature lower than 100 deg C, to obtain a liquid that finally actually does taste like it smells?

(could those of you who have access to the proper glassware please do this, taste it and let me know)

Because thioglycolic acid is diprotic (it has two H+ to donate) am I right in assuming that its redox potential is dependent on pH even though the half reaction does not have H+ or OH- transfer when it is reducing?
