the surface=
silicon, magnesium, iron, calcium, and aluminium.
and some is actually oxidized
(meaning some elements binded with oxygen while the moon was really hot and slammed into earth.... long story)

the mantle
olivine, orthopyroxene clinopyroxene iron and titanium



it "glows" because sun light is !reflecting! off of it.



grow??........... hold on. I'm going to cry some more......


it should look to be getting smaller. its moving away at about 1 inch a year

The Moon is made of rock, just like the Earth. And it doesn't "grow." The phases of the Moon are due to the changing angle of the Sun's light falling on it.

it's made of all different kinds of rocks, if it is growing it's because of all different meteors and asteroids (etc) are hitting it then basically clinging on to the moon
