I have asked this question in a similar form but unfortunately did not recieve answers that make sense.

Please, I ask sincerely, do not answer unless you are absolutely sure of your facts.

My wife and I recently moved to Brittany in northern France.
I love the peace and quiet but I work in the Middle East for long periods so my wife gets a little lonely.
She misses British TV.

I recently posted a question asking whether there was a satelite service that carried the British Freeview channels.

I was very supprised that one answerer said that you could get all TV stations on Satellite. Initially I dismissed this as nonsense but another nswered also said that she could get even the regional ITV stations in Northern Spain.

Confused I mailed ITV themselves and asked if there was anyway I could recieve their programs. They told me that ITV is a purely British Terestial broadcaster.

Was one of my answerers just making it up?

It is possible to magnify light if you can use a magnifying glass to burn ants and grass, right? It is possible to bend light..

why wouldn't it be possible to magify light to make it travel faster than the speed of light? you can do it to film space.
Based on Einstein's theory nothing can travel faster that speed of light...what do you think?

Do transitional fossils prove evolution? Does those who believe in evolution commit the logical fallacy of affirming the consequent?

Here is a quote from an article that I found on the website of California Academy of Sciences by the title" "Fish Out Of Water" the article states that "the bones inside animal’s forward fins provide evidence of arms in the making" Read the full article here: http://www.calacademy.org/science_now/headline_science/fossil_fish.php

So the argument is this as I understand it:
If evolution is true than transitional fossils will be found
The tiktaalik is a transitional fossil since it has a bone inside of its forward fins which provide evidence of arms in making.
Therefore evolution is true

An example of the same fallace:
If it's raining then the streets are wet.
The streets are wet.
Therefore, it's raining.

In symbolic form it looks like this

If p then q.
q.
Therefore, p

Does anyone out there know of any good books on Telekinesis that shows how to amplify/attain that level of heightened awareness (would you even call it that?) to be able to use Telekinesis at will? I'm not talking anything like Prue from "Charmed," or magically speaking, but actuallly somewhat being able to control it and use it almost at-will. I'm looking for one of or the best book to help me develop my abilities as a TK or anything else.

Word for word:
Find the real valued solution(s) of 3 - 2rad(4x - 3) + x = 0, Check for extraneous root.

By "rad", I mean the square root sign, its just that I can't type it in here. The terms in the parenthesis would be under the radical sign.

Any help would really be appreciated, as I now am redoing the test as homework to see what I got wrong and how to fix it.
