They live on opposite poles.

Of course not. Penguins only live in the southern hemisphere while polar bears live strictly in the North. The only way a penguin and a polar bear can live together is if they're at the zoo.

Polar bears live in the icy regions of the North, the Arctic. Penguins live in the South, the Antarctic. Penguins also live in parts of South America. They are even kept apart in the zoo so the penguins do not eat the polar bears.

no, polar bears live on the north pole, far from any penguin. penguins either live in Antarctica or in hot southern regions. besides polar bears generally dine of seals and sea lion found in northern Canada, in the summer and spring, or in the north pole, during winter and fall.

Jesse,
Polar bears inhabit the arctic regions of the northern hemisphere and penguins inhabit areas of the southern hemisphere. Some penguins live in areas that are warm. My favorites are the rock hoppers that live on rocky islands and hop from one rock to another.

Penguins live on the South pole. But I wonder what if they introduce penguins to the North to have them live with the bears.

No. Polar bears actually eat penguins as an appetizer. For dessert, it's snow cones. For an entree? Well, any National Geographic photographer in his or her snowsuit, of course. Fillet o fotographic, the bears call it. This particular diet actually helps to add that extra sheen to their beautiful white polar bear coats.
