Ted Owen claimed to be the world's most gifted psychic. He could control the weather and create lightning on demand. He predicted strange phenomena, but said he had caused them to happen after having conversations with 'Space Intelligences'.
Community of parapsychologists was reluctant to work with him. Why? Didn't they take him seriously? Was it because he could be vicious? Or did they think that the world was not ready for Owens' kind of supernatural talents?

The circumference of a sphere was measured to
be 70 cm with a possible error of 0.9 cm. Use differentials
to estimate the maximum error in the calculated surface area.
Estimate the relative error in the calculated surface area.
Hint: The circumference of a sphere of radius r is C = 2pr,
and its surface area is A = 4pr2. Eliminate r first!

How many grams (to the nearest 0.01 g) of NH4Cl (Mm = 53.49 g/mol) must be added to 650. mL of 0.894-M solution of NH3 in order to prepare a pH = 9.00 buffer?

I keep getting 17.48 but it is the wrong answer.
This is how I am working it out.
PH=pKa+log(b/a)

9=9.25+log(x/.5811)
x=.326777 mol
Then I multiply by Mm to get 17.48 grams. I am doing something wrong and don't know what it is.

Newton's Third law states that : "Every action has a equal and a opposite reaction."

I have just modified it by adding one word stating : "Every action has a equal , opposite and a irreversible reaction."

"Irreversible" here just means that when there is any action which is considered as an example for newtons third law, the action cannot be reversed with respect to time.

Do you think this is valid? Do you cerebrate this statement?
