Okay, so many people have there opinions. I highly doubt that it will. But i'm curios. Do you think the world will end in 2012? I Have heard more people say no then yes. And people have said that the world has been predicted to end so many times, so I don't think it will happen. If you say yes, could you please explain why? Have a great day/night.

Assume A,B,C are subsets of a universal set U, and define * as A*B=(A-B)union(B-A). Prove or disprove the following statement: A*B=B*A

I was able to show graphically that (A-B) union (B-A) do not intersect and same for (B-A)union(A-B) which are graphically equal but I couldn't prove it using procedural version of set definitions and identities. Also, I don't know how the subset C takes place in this proof.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If Un<---(suppose to read U sub n) represents the nth term of the Fibonacci sequence show that, Un and Un+1<---(suppose to read U sub n+1) are relatively prime. okay, I dont knoq how to start this, and what exactly does the "sub n and sub n+1" do to the U in this sequence I dont see a relation, because the sequence is 1,1, 2, 3, 5, 8,..., x, y, x+y, etc. How do I show these are prime by using what they are asking.

If anyone could help me out with the following physics question, I would appreciate it greatly:

"An aircraft is traveling in a vertical loop of diameter 3000m. The pilot has a mass of 90kg. At the bottom of the loop, the seat exerts 2550N on the man.

a) At what speed is the plane flying?
b)What force does the seat exert on the man when he is upside down at the top of the loop?
c) What is the minimum speed that the plane can fly at so that the man will feel "weightless" at the top of the loop? (ie when will the seat not exert force on him?)"

If you could possibly give me full working out, that would be great. I especially need help with knowing when to add and subtract any force vectors, such as force of gravity and centrifugal force.

Thanks!

The material stiffness "k" that we model in any mechanical system, can we relate it the inertia of the system?
-The inertia is resistance to motion, but when we talk about stiffness its the measure of how much force is required to deform the material, now in classical spring element, deformation is considered as displacement, does that mean, we are talking about the same thing in different ways??
