Do you think a combonation of eastern and western medicine is better than just western medicine alone.

If ur kind of eastern medicine means chinese medicine, it may work. Chinese medicine is more holistic and tries to go into the root of any health problems, whereas western medicine can sometimes be symptomatic treatment. Going to a qualified chinese physician would help if you want to know more. However, if you intend to combine both types of treatment, please let both physicians know so as to avoid any adverse reactions.

If you're thinking of the 'energy'-based healing techniques, they're completely bunk. Nobody can deliver mystical energy into your body with the power of thought. These techniques can certainly heal people, but only through the placebo effect.
