C2H5OH will have higher conductivity. As you can see, C5H12 is symmetrical in shape, that means they are very stable, and will have much lower conductivity. C2H5OH is not, that means it will have 2 poles. One side will be more positive and one side will be slightly more negative. When many of those atoms are around, they will be able to attract each other, and therefore, have higher conductibity.

Are you talking of thermal conductivity or electrical? I think both are electrically non-conducting. If thermal conductivity is being studied, lighter molecules will have higher conductivity.
