I tried asking this is Society and Cluture, but no one understood it i dont think... so here i am!

Its a little known fact that Nikola Tesla invented a machine which would draw power out of the naturally occuring electric feilds of the earth and be able to send it wirelessly through the ground at almost any distance and with the capacity to send huge amounts of power this way. (Google patent search "Apparatus for transmitting electrical energy" by Nikola Tesla 1914). the only reason it didnt happen is because Thomas Edison insisted on using the wire system so that they could sell power by usage. This philosophy has lasted until this day, and very few people are aware of the alternative possibilities.

how would history have been different if free electric power were implemented in the 1910's? How would the world change today if we built enough of them to power the whole world?

btw, this machine is NOT a fake, it was tested and confirmed. if you want more info on workings, ask

Using the 3-4-5 method if I measured out 18 feet on one side of the angle and 24 feet on the other angle, if the 3rd side equals to 30 will the corner be square? all three numbers being a multiple of 6. I kinda understand using smaller numbers like 12, 3x4=12 and 16, 4x4 =16 and 20 5x4=20 but I'm confused when using larger numbers. This builder use 26, 28, 35 how does that work. the corner I'm trying to measure is 26'10" by 30'10 " a little bit bigger than the acual foundation.

Im trying to work out the stress of a fishing line after connecting a fishing line to a pulleyboard and adding 100g weights one at a time onto the fishing line to create strain and stress.

I know the formula is Stress = Force divided by area

And i have already worked out the force acting on the fishing line for each 100 gram weights which are added. If i have done this right it is 0.1 (100 g) multiplied by 9.81 (gravity) to give 0.981.

Also i have the diameter of the fishing line as 35 microns (3.5 x 10 to the power of -5)

So the area of the cross section of the circular fishing line is needed and then needs to be multiplied by the length of the fishing line which is 1.2 metres.

Can anyone help me out with this please?

Thank you so much

Find maximum value of f(x) = -5x^2-10x+6

Solve x^2 = 4x by graphing and indicating the roots

solve x^2 + 2x = -2 by graphing and indicating the roots

If you could explain how to do these too that would be great so I would know how to work it out when it comes to the test, I read my book but I just don't get how to do it.

Can someone explain to me how I do this?
I have to graph this inequality

y > –2(0, -2) and (2, 0)

Also, I think that if I end up with a greater than symbol I shade above the line, and a less than symbol means to shade it below the line. Is this correct? Thanks
