The needles I'm on about are simply the ones used for immunisations and jabs and such.

They come in a range of sizes, measured in gauges, like wire is. The larger the number, the thinner the needle.

The photos show a range. The tiniest needles used are around 30g, and they can get up to 14 or 12g for really big IVs.

large dia. for blood draw/ IV use: insulin injection uses a small diameter needle.

Depends on what they will be used for some are as small as .10mm others are as large as 1 mm.
