I don't want stupid answers just a simple no will do.
In our house there is a different smell on the stairs to anywhere else in the house.
It's a nice smell but we havn't got a clue where it's from.
Could it be paranormal?
I know you all think this is a silly question I was just wondering that's all.

There seemed to be lots of sub stories in the book, ones about the politics and faults and failings of the scientific community, the other about the relationship between a scientist and the 'creator'.

On the first storey, was Carl saying things in fiction that he could never come out and say in real life.

On the second, was the book autobiographical.

i have got an email from someone who says moon landing were fake and the flowwings are my proof:

1 - The shadows don't fall right in images taken on the Lunar surface, proving that there are are multiple light sources, like professional stage lighting using high-powered lamps. Since the Moon has only one light source, the Sun.

2 - The foreground of many images of the astronauts on the Moon are filled in with light, while the shadows remain absolutely black, again proving that there are multiple light sources.

3 - There are no stars in the background from pictures taken on the Moon.

what do you think?

I heard that they re-use the colonoscopy equipment on many patients and that it's not always cleansed and sterilized properly. This is GROSS. What if the person prior to you had HIV? I'm sure this could be passed on to the next person or some kind of wicked infection?
Why doesn't each person get new equipment like they do when a colonic is done? I imagine it's the health care system in the US just tryin to save a buck, and to Hell with the patient's health.

what is the present value of $10,000 you will receive in 5 years with an expected rate of interest of 8%, if discounted a) quarterly and b) continuously

a)
.08/12 = .0066

5 years = 60 months

PV = 10,000(1.0066/4)^4*60

b)
PV = 10,000 * e^(.08 * 5)

are those correct? thanks in advance to anyone helping me with this.

Does anyone know if you have a script to have a medical test done, say a mammogram, can you have the test done in another state? I know if the other state accepts your insurance, I don't see why not (I have a PPO with United Healthcare.) The medical profession in Florida is the pits, I want to go back to NY to have any medical tests done, (at least NY doctors don't amputate a person's healthy foot and leave the diseased one there!!)
Please advise.

Assume a relatively cold temperature (-30 degrees celsius). Could a strong enough wind make it warmer for you than no wind at all?

For example, in the case of stowaways riding a plane (there've been a few cases), I believe the speed-induced friction could be quite significant.

A stunt pilot of mass 55.0 kg who has been diving her airplane vertically pulls out of the dive by changing her course to a circle in a vertical plane.If the plane's speed at the lowest point of the circle is 95.8m/s , what is the minimum radius of the circle for the acceleration at this point not to exceed 4.00 g?
Take the free fall acceleration to be = 9.80 .What is the apparent weight of the pilot at the lowest point of the pullout in this case?
Take the free fall acceleration to be = 9.80 m/s^2.
