The 65.0 kg pilot sits on a scale. Take g = 10.0 m/s2.

1.On the first loop, the jet comes within 665 m of the ground. The pilot notices that her scale reading at the top of the loop is 325 N. How long does it take to complete this loop?

I know that radius is approx. 1276, but I do not know how to find acceleration when the pilot is right-side up and up-side down.

Thanks in advance!

Captain Haddock is going for a country walk with Tintin, and he takes a deep breath admiring the fresh air just when he happens to be passing in the vicinity of a rubbish tip which he then of course notices.

Is there a subconscious physiological response to bad smells which triggers you to take in a deep breath and notice it? I believe there might be...what do you think?

suppose g: (a,b) ->R^n is a twice-differentiable parameterized curve. prove that g has constant speed if and only if the velocity and acceleration vectors are orthogonal at every t.

any help on how to approach and solve this question will be much appreciated.

Okay, I understand most of it but I have a few questions.

1)Let's say there's only one point with a value of 22.5 degrees on a field map. How would you connect it? Or would you leave it alone since it's the only one of the value of 22.5 degrees on a map.
2)Just wondering...if you only had two lines of equal value and they're straight across. How would you connect them and show that they are continuous?
3)Gradient junk now, lol. Okay, pretend a question asks is the gradient larger from point D to A or point X to E. If you figure out the gradient and the gradient from D-A was 1.5/m and from X-E was 2.0/m which gradient is larger? I'm confused because I really don't understand the true meaning of gradient. If the questions aren't clear and pictures might help, just request and I'll get working on my /\/\@|) $K1LL$ 11G|-|T? XDXDXDXD

First find the product(s) to the equation
Then balance the equation
Then list the type of reaction

I don't understand why Zn + HCl doesn't make a product of ZnCl2, because an element + a compound doesn't equal a compound, that isn't any type of reaction. What am I doing wrong?

Zn is +2 charge, H is a +1 charge because Cl is a -1 charge.
Then I swapped them to make ZnCl2 and left H out, but it just doesn't make sense.

Here's a conversation:
"How do you find how much stuff is under a graph?"
"You mean, an area under a curve - a function"
"Ye"
"Well, you pretend there are lots of rectangles underneath the curve, and add their areas. You'll notice that the more rectangles I have, the closer I am getting to a limit, a determined value" ... But after that, I just loose him. I try to explain how to get to the basic intg procedure, I even let him try out a mathematica simulation... Anyone know how I can explain the concept of the integral to an eighth grader - with really simple math? He /at least/ understands the concept of Riemman sums, but where do I go from there to reimman integrals and all the other fun stuff without supplementing summations and limits ?
