well i know of one such case. Somewhere in america a man was out in his crop field, while his family were all sitting around on the front porch of the house. He just vanished. His family went looking for him and could see his foot prints where he was working and that was it, they just stopped and he was never seen again, still to this day. Some say he slipped into a parallel universe. Then you have people that fake their deaths and are never seen again, also people that are murdered and are never found. xxx ps look up this story you can download it for free and i believe it mentions that man that vanished, its also about parallel universes. Ive only read the start of it but thats it. You might find it interesting reading, its called ( Thiaoouba Prophecy )

I would think that the majority of them have taken off on their own, or some other non alien reason for disappearing.

But in a few cases one can not help but wonder if something paranormal was involved.

Maybe something paranormal did happen to make so many people disappear. But, wouldn't it be more reasonable to assume that unless there were some reason (i.e. evidence) that the paranormal is to blame that we should just assume the disappearances have a natural cause?

Running away, murder, abduction, accidents, etc. aren't fun to consider, but they are more likely causes than abductions.

There are plenty of explanations for disappearances:

Assuming a new identity, kidnappings, murders, or just plain old falling out of touch with someone.

You don't have to come up with a human "Bermuda triangle" theory to explain why someone isn't around. And besides, where are you getting your information? If millions of people were disappearing simultaneously, it would be getting TONS of press coverage. The government naturally assumes that x percent of people will go missing every year...is this what you're referring to?

People "disappear" often because they do not want to be present any more, instead of facing life, they run from it. The other reason would be malicious behaviors such as murders, child labor, cult acts like witchcraft (more common in countries over seas, like in Africa)...i would agree it could be supernatural reasons sometimes, if that person was getting into witchcraft and magic it might cause them to do some strange things.

10 million Americans go missing every year and about 10% are never found, mostly children. At that rate every place should be knee deep in body's. There is some type of slavery ring out there. Exporting children to do god knows what. John Walsh has talked about it on TV hundreds of times and no one seems to care.
