Guess what?
Due to Mercury's rotation and highly elliptical orbit, the Sun appears to rise briefly, set, and rise again before it travels westward across the sky. At sunset, the Sun appears to set, rise again briefly, and then set again.

Guess what?
Venus is referred to as the Evening Star because it is the brightest planet that can be viewed from Earth. Its thick cloud cover is an excellent reflector of the Sun's light.

Wow!
Earth is the only inner planet in our solar system that has liquid water on its surface. Seventy percent of the surface is covered by oceans where photosynthesis takes place. This makes the ocean the principal life habitat on Earth.

Isn't that amazing?
Some of the meteorites found on Earth are actually pieces of the planet Mars. Scientists study these meteorites for evidence of tiny ancient bacteria and other signs that life may have once existed on Mars.

Guess what?
Jupiter is so large that all of the other planets in the solar system could fit inside of it.

Isn't that interesting?
Saturn has the lowest density of any planet in our solar system. Its density is so low that it would float if it was placed in water.

Guess what?
Uranus is a large, plain, blue-green planet which can only be seen from the Earth with the unaided eye on a clear, dark night.

Wow!
Neptune was discovered because Uranus did not follow the orbital path predicted by astronomers. Astronomers assumed that the gravitational pull of another object was affecting the orbit of Uranus. This led them to look for, and find, Neptune.

i hope you could google up about the moons.

thank you for asking the question.

love you!

Borrow a book called Contemporary Astronomy from your library. It is by Jay Pasachoff.

It is an introducory text book used at Uni.

It is very easy to read, and while a bit dated now, will bombard you with interesting facts, the theories behind them and most likely explanations.
