Would any Christians ever take a class regarding these natural concepts? I would think they would want to learn everything they could about this so they could strengthen their own faith when they legitimently prove them as false.

Chemical Reaction:

2Mg+O2 ===> 2MgO

Mass of crucible and lid- 30.89g
Mass of crucible, lid and Mg Ribbon- 31.04g
Mass of crucible lid and product- 31.08g

Calculate the mass of magnesium metal and the mass of the product. Use the law of conservation of mass to calculate the mass of oxygen that combined with magnesium.

I think I got the mass of the magnesium metal and the product, but I'm not sure. I got 0.15g of magnesium metal and 0.40g of magnesium oxide. Am I right? And how would I calculate the mass of the oxygen that reacted?

Thanks!
