I'm currently 15 and haven't taken any physics classes yet, but I have an idea of what light is thought to be from reading some books.. I read a book that said that Einstein has a theory that light is a particle aswell as a wave.. but if it was a particle. If i shawn a light onto a material that light couldn't pass through that had a.. let's say 2 inch hole in it.. and onto a wall 2 metres away. If light was a particle and not a wave.. on the wall wouldn't we just see the 2 inch diametre circle of light?

I'm a bit confused with the concept of electricity, and hopefully someone could clear my mind.

If a Utility Company has a capacity of 1 mW, what does it mean? Does it mean that it creates 1 mW per second? if so, does it mean it creates 9,600 mW-h?

I remember something about crustations all start in water and its like the eggs and sperms just form together in the water and forms the animal when it clings on to something. Or was that mollusks? And also do crabs and lobsters change shells?

My brother is a senior in high school, and he is interested in doing a 7 year PhD program for electrical/computer engineering. This would make him roughly 25 years old by the time he finished. I told him that the PhD at such a young age may over qualify him for certain jobs at smaller companies. For instance, if a P.E. had a 10 man business built on a bachelors degree, would the thought of hiring a young PhD not be slightly unappealing? He says, that he will do research at a place like AMD or Intel. Would his age and lack of experience conflict with is level of education?? It just seems like those jobs would be difficult to get, and would be reserved for people of more seniority. Is his best shot teaching at the collegiate level....unfortunately he doesn't want to do that. What do you think?

The fish left a small hickey-like wound on my leg. The fish bumped into me first before biting me as sharks do. Apparently I passed the taste test because it then bit me once and proceeded to chase me as I fled bumping into me once more before I got to shore. The fish was no more than 30 inches long and the bite radius was about that of a nickel. My uncle saw the bite and said it was probably a Dogfish shark, but I didn't think those were found in the gulf. Dogfish sharks are known to hunt in packs, but I only saw one fish chasing me. Of course my focus was on getting out of the water rather than identifying what bit me. I was in a bit past waist deep water and my mom and I had been splashing around. The bite itself did not hurt much but it did cause minimal bleeding. Any ideas of the identity of my tiny yet efficient attacker?
