I would really appreciate some assistance on this problem. I can't seem to get the correct answer. Thank you so much!

You can obtain a rough estimate of the size o f a molecule with the following simple experiment: Let a droplet of oil spread out on a fairly large but smooth water surface. The resulting "oil slick" that forms on the surface of the water will be approximately one molecule thick.

Given an oil droplet with a mass of 9.03 x 10^-7 kg and a density of 911 kg/m^3 that spreads out to form a circle with a radius of 43.8 cm on the water surface, what is the approximate diameter of an oil molecule? Answer in units of m.

Like when astronauts go to space, can they take a bag of small rocks, and hurl them at Earth, then, after a day or two, when the rocks enter the atmosphere, they burn up, and can be seen as a "meteor shower". Can this idea work? Why or why not?

Several years ago an astronomer Steven ??? proved his theory that the gravity wave cause by the moon and sun has an effect on triggering volcanic erruptions. In fact he could predict the intensity of the erruptions by the position of the sun and the moon. I believe the same gravity plays a signifcant role in triggering earth quakes. This gravity pulls at the earth magma and effect tides causing stress at the earth plates. Has anyone studied this?

And if it's just a houx, why did so many people give accounts of these encounters. I mean i just saw today over at Youtube this whole UFO interview thing that showed vids that claims to be an actual footage of an ET. Its like the more i know, the more i don't know. First, I've been asked to graph multiple functions, 2 of which I cannot figure out how to graph or enter into a calculator for a general idea:

f(x)= log base 2 (x) ; f(x)= √(a^2)-(x^2) )

So if somebody could explain how to do this, or find a reference I can check out that would be awesome.

Secondly, Is there a relationship between symmetry in a function's graph and the function being even or odd?

Last, if a set of directions say to "Draw a reflection" of..sin(x) (for example), is that the same as regular graphing?

Thanks

This has been answered poorly many times before with answers about bright backgrounds, etc. But there are never any answers as to why pictures with very low light background, such as pictures of asteriods (NEAR) and others have no stars in the background. If you see pictures with stars in the background, the stars have been added.

One example of this deceit is at the site below where NASA has clearly superimposed the constellation Orion on top of the Aurora! You can clearly see that the stars are in front of the Aurora, not seen through the Aurora!! NASA continues to decieve the public over this star issue.
