what two processes are the major sources of the earth's interior heat = radiogenic heat

which is the energy source for plate tectonic motion = convection in the mantle

The earth was formed when large pieces of solid matter orbiting the sun collided. When the rocks collided friction caused the rocks to heat up and melt. This heat energy is still stored in the earth. the outer layer cooled and trapped the heat inside.
The other source of heat is from naturally occurring fission reactors with in the earth.

The question is flawed.

The only source of heat in the earth is radiogenic heat (natural nuclear reactor) - other than residual heat. The only process that moves the plates is convection, and that is just a theory.

So the source of heat is radiogenic, and the process is convection.

conduction -plate action mechanism-a guess -thinking that motion transfers directly from subject to subject with no air currents.
convection
