I believe there are aliens from other far away planets like ours living on Earth. They look like us so that is why we can't tell they are here and the government knows but they are covering it up.

Or maybe its another effect, such as optical. I understand that the horizon is proportional to the square root of the height of the observer relative to the sea level . So on the beach, lets say I am 20 feet high. That works out to something like 25 miles. Looking left to right rapidly, its true that the locus of lines from my eye to the horizon would be a cone. But only with a 20 foot drop in 25 miles. I would never see that. Has anyone seen this?

According the Law of Energy, Energy is a latent substance, cannot be created nor annihilated. The earth receives energy transmission from such as solar radiation every time and another space objects. And inside it inner core and living creatures activities will always produce and release energy too.Since the earth is relatively closed system it will be hard to move energy from it. And now of course, as we know. We have an ozone hole that permit UV arrive to earthface directly and Greenhouse Effect that blocks and traps the energy to keep it remain in this earth. In my mind, although those all conversed to another kind energy such as heat or kinetics. It will still cause an unbalance in earth system such as earthquake or maybe in the end "The earth will be blown up". What's your opinion here? Help me please...

I'm no scientist, but because Peru had an earthquake, would that put more pressure on the fault lines north, up the coast and eventually cause major earthquakes on the coast of California? Didn't California have a small earthquake just recently and wasn't there predictions of a major earthquake on the San Andreas Fault line made on CNN just a few days ago? Shouldn't people be made more aware of this possibility?

Suppose that you are driving in a car with 100m/s and shoot a bullet with initial velocity 500m/s. Relative to the stationary observer, the bullet would be traveling at (500+100=600m/s).
Lets say you are driving at night with 100 m/s and put on the headlight, will the light beam be traveling (3x10^8 + 100) m/s relative to the stationary observer? It is apparently greater than the speed of light. Clear my confusion please..
