Yes I agree. This may sound bizarre. I believe people who's last names have something to do with their jobs or careers are aliens in human form. ie: Mr. Waters works for Evian, Dr. Bender, a Chiropractor and Mr. Woodin, a cabinet maker.
Don't ask me for an explanation haha
Also I have an open mind that abductions are taking place currently. Missing people who have never been found.
Who won the 1970 world series Army Wife?.. just testing lol

To answer your question directly...
Yes, many other people believe that.
Unfortunately, there is no substantiated evidence for it.
You are correct that governments have secrets and are covering up information about important events and operations. However, some of that information leaks out and sifts through the monopolized major media sources. Whatever information about "aliens in human form" that we have, is all easily proved phony.
There are cases of actual UFOs. But remember the term "unidentified" does not imply "alien" in the extraterrestrial sense. The first and most famous UFO at Roswell is known to be from a weather / spy balloon that crashed there, not an alien spaceship. The entire "alien origin" story was a disinformation campaign by the government designed to cover-up their true motives and purposes. So, in that sense only, your government did indeed cover up facts and propagate lies about the actual event. We are positive that none of those events had anything to do with extraterrestrial aliens.
Since the cold war, almost every bit of publicly disseminated information about anything important has had some spin or outright lie attached to it.
You are correct... the government is covering up stuff and lies perpetually. However, to the extent that governments disseminate information about UFOs or Aliens, that is all just misdirection of the same type that magicians use to distract their audiences from what is really happening.
As long as there are gullible people who cannot understand basic physics of space travel, there will be fertile soil for creating the impression of "conspiracy nuts." Those are the real reasons this myth of aliens amongst us survives.
As a general rule, if you see anything about aliens on television, it is false. These falsehoods are propagated for profit as entertainment and as justification for the denial of actual conspiracies of an all-too-Earthly nature.

You question is "Does anyone believe..." and the answer to that is, sadly, yes.
But then, there are people who will believe anything.
There are people who still believe that the Earth is flat, that it is the centre of the universe or that it is hollow and we live inside, controlled by trolls.
As for the government (I assume American government) covering anything up... difficult to believe. Not because I think they are all "honest and truthful", but rather because they have difficulty covering up anything, even when they really try.

::sigh:: No. First off, there is absolutely no real evidence for Earth being visited by any aliens, secondly, there is no chance that a species on another world would evolve in exactly the same way we did, thus, look exactly like us, then somehow manage to find another planet (Earth) with a species that looked identical to them. All the "rubber forehead" aliens you see on Star Trek has warped your sense of probability.

It's possible, but why would the government know? Aliens who can travel so far through the universe should be smart enough to come undetected.

Yes, that would explain why government beauracracies work the way they do. I'm sure all those initial contact staff placed to keep you from speaking to someone who's able to make decisions are specifically genetically engineered for that function.
I hope they all go back to their own planet soon, they are quite irritating.
