K so I know that lots of people ask it and bla bla bla, but this question is different... WHY does everyone fall for that Rayleigh bs? There's dust everywhere and light doesn't hit it and freak out, shining blue on everything! So WHY is the sky really blue? Does it have anything to do with Uberblutomiumide?

The other night I went to bed and forgot to remove my earrings, I do this often. Next morning I took a shower with both earrings still in my ears, I do this often. Got out of the shower with both earrings still in my ears, wrapped a towel around my wet hair. Then I did my usual routine - dress, make up and hair. I was getting ready to run some errands, went into the bedroom to get my purse and spotted my earring on the floor. Checked my earlobes, and yes, one earring was missing. The earring on the floor was the match to the other, which was still in my ear, but the earring still had the back on it. I have had many earrings fall out, but I find the post in one place and the back in another. This time both were in place, together - connected, the back was on the post. Now I know that I have an intelligent dog, but she's not that good! We have had some "unique" things happen before, but this was really odd. Any thoughts?

How would I go about finding the ratios between these 3 different types of Kinetic energy--

Rotational
Translational
Intermolecular

I'm sure it has to do with the moment of inertia, mass and molecular bond, but only being through Chem112 i am not sure where to start. I am just looking for the 5% ballpark. Are there any assumptions I need to make.

Anything helps, Thanks a Bunch

But I've heard that there are very few jobs in the field, and astronomers don't get paid that much. Is there any other interesting job that I can do that requires a degree in engineering, or physics?

A man 190 cm tall stands 2.5 m from a plane mirror. His dog, 30 cm tall, sits 1 m in front of him. What minimum mirror size is needed for the man to see all of his dog's reflection?

I got:
h=H * (i)/(i+o)
=.3m x (2.5m / 4.0 m)
h=.1875 m

But this does not take into account the man's height. Please help.
