dont you think its weird when you lye down and look at the sky. You stare. All you see is sky or stars (if its night). Where does it end. It HAS to end somewhere... eventually it has too. It cant keep going, what do you think is at the end? But then whats behind that? ITS SO MIND BOGGLING!!! Does anyone else feel disorientated when you think about this kinda stuff?

Why do some people persist in giving really quite exceptionally long answers to the briefest of questions when they're clearly not required and their answers are really monotonous and boring to read, why don't they make their answers snappy and concise and to the point when all we want to know is the answer in a couple of words and not their synopsis of 'war and peace' on the subject in hand, do they think they are being smart in giving overdetailed answers and are they showing off a bit as I suspect or are they under the impression that the person asking the single line question is really interested in their inane ramblings and indeed has the patience and inclination to read their long winded and sometimes overcomplicated ( and therefore not really answering the question ) opinion or answer to the question at hand, bearing in mind that scrolls and scrolls of text on these pages are not the most exciting thing to read especially if you are only after a short and to the point answer to

This question is just a 1 or 2 word answer, and I'm confused whether it's a trick question or not.

Which type of formula, empirical or molecular, can be obtained from elemental analysis that gives percent composition?

I saw an example in my textbook that shown me how to get the empirical formula from the percent composition, and from that answer, it was able to obtain the molecular formula. So what's the answer? It says "or" in the question, but then again, it might be a trick question.

Does anybody know a formula to figure out the following: Say I wanted to take a picture of a wall that is 100 feet in width and in length. How many feet away from the wall would the camera have to be to capture he entire wall???

I obviously could measure the distance with a long measuring tape once I found my self in a position where the entire wall was in the picture, but my goal is to find the formula for the problem.

Thank you for your help.

A rocket accelerates by burning its onboard fuel, so its mass decreases with time. Suppose the initial mass of the rocket at liftoff (including its fuel) is m, the fuel is consumed at rate r, and the exhaust gases are ejected with constant velocity ve [v followed by little e] (relative to the rocket). A model for the velocity of the rocket at time t is given by the equation below where g is the acceleration due to gravity and t is not too large.

v(t) = -gt - ve ln((m-rt)/m) [that's v then little e]

If g = 9.8 m/s2, m = 30000 kg, r = 160 kg/s, and ve = 3000 m/s, find the height of the rocket one minute after liftoff.

Ok, any ideas on where to start...? Dont you just plug in?

I'm not religious, but today, I was thinking about how amazing it is that everything seems to know everything else. Like, before bees evolved enough to see ultraviolet, how did they/their bodies know that plants have UV marks on them in the first place? How do animals know their predators so well that they can develop such effective defenses? How does Science seem to know everything about itself, when most of it is inanimate and apparently not even aware of it's own existance?

Hello:
Could somebody explain me what is the difference (if any) between a chaotical behaviour and a random behaviour? What I know is that, for example, a butterfly path is chaotic, also, the path of the smoke of a cigarette, and the diffusion of a drop of ink in a glass of water, because in all these cases you can't predict how the particles (or objects) will move. That seems to be random, isn't that? Thanks

You are on a train that is traveling at 3.0 m/s along a level straight track. Very near and parallel to the track is a wall that slopes upward at a 12° angle with the horizontal. As you face the window (0.85 m high, 1.8 m wide) in your compartment, the train is moving to the left, as the drawing indicates. The top edge of the wall first appears at window corner A and eventually disappears at window corner B. How much time passes between appearance and disappearance of the upper edge of the wall?
