If a voltage source is applied to the output of the op-amp (with NO feedback to the input), what happens to the circuit/device? Does the signal just go straight to ground or open circuit? Or does it cause the op-amp to break down because of high current, etc?

Hello Canadians :)
I currently live in Brazil and I am a math professor teaching Linear Algebra and I also can teach chemistry. I speak many languages including French so that may be a benefit to teach in Canada. My salary is very low here. I get only about $1000 every month and as a Professor I believe I need more than that.
I was wondering what the average salary is there in Canada for Professors teaching in Universities or Highschools.
I'd also like to move to Canada to teach but how am I to go about this? Would I need a visa?.. That would cost I'm assuming around $3000 but can I get a loan?
I just would really appreciate if someone were to suggest the first step I should take in wanting to work in Canada as a Professor... I don't have knowledge on how to do this.
Please any suggestions? Thank You!

f(x)=.40[[x]]+.75

gives the total cost of the call in dollars. Find the cost for a 5.5 min call.

I have noticed that any kind of bread - bagels, buns, rolls, loaves - when kept in a plastic bag, in the refrigerator, dries out on the bottom, while the top gets soggy. What's up with this water migration? It doesn't happen to bread kept in plastic bags at room temperature...

I've lived here for 10 years... and I want to know what happened to my 110 degree days!!!! :( CAN ANYONE GIVE AN EXPLANATION?!?!?!?!??!?!? PLEASE?!

I'm looking for a set of references and/or websites that could give me a basic course in "astrophysics for dummies". I find the topic fascinating, and am currently working on a sci fi novel and would like to do some serious research first.

I've noticed that the Dummies series of books publishes a book called "Astronomy for Dummies" but I'd like to make sure that this really isn't just "Stargazing for Dummies" or some really primitive treatise on the subject.
