100e^(2x) = 600

ln(100e^(2x)) = ln(600)

The left side is
ln(100) + 2x

So now you have
ln(100) + 2x = ln(600)

Add -ln(100) to both sides
2x =ln(600) - ln(100) = ln(600/100) = ln(6)

Multiply both sides by 1/2

x = (1/2)ln(6) = ln(√6)

100e^(2x) = 600
100e^(2x)/100 = 600/100
e^(2x) = 6
ln e^(2x) = ln 6
2x = ln 6
x = (ln 6)/2
x = 0.8959

100e^(2x) = 600
e^(2x) = 6
2x = ln 6
x = 2(ln 6)
so........x = 0.8959

e^2x = 6, and take ln of each side:
2x = ln(6)
x = .5*ln(6) = .896 (rounded)
