So, I live in Cali. Usually, during the Summer, the sun is out and about.. and everyone stays half naked because it's so dang hot. However, lately, it's only been about 60 degrees. I find it incredibly odd that no one ELSE finds this incredibly odd. Are you kidding me?! I've lived here for 10 years... and I want to know what happened to my 110 degree days!!!! :( CAN ANYONE GIVE AN EXPLANATION?!?!?!?!??!?!? PLEASE?!

First of all i found your question because i typed "cold this summer" in the search engine on here and your question came up.

I've been wondering the same thing. I live in Detroit and usually there would be very hot and humid summer days we haven't had any. its actually been the opposite, its been cold and windy. and even tho this weather is 100 times better than 100 degree weather im alittle worried because its not normal.
People just seem to be so happy with the relief of the heat that they are not thinking about the bigger picture, and that is WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO?

Oh and BTW I've been sleeping with a blanket at night!!!

I have been saying that all year. This is the coldest year I have experianced in San Diego in my six years here. We've been below normal all year. Eventhough 71 degrees is not cold but those are summer temps; it should be at least 76-80 this time of year. The coast of Southern CA has been below normal all year and it's pissing me off; I want to go to the beach anytime I have free time but lately it's been staying cloudy longer in the mornings and becoming cloudy earlier in the evenings. I prefer last July's heat to this coolness we have been experiancing. I thought maybe it had something to do with La Nina but water temps here at least are pretty normal. I dunno but August better be hot as hell to make up for this.

Lucky you.
It's been in the 80s and 90s in Georgia.
If I could choose I'd choose cooler weather.
