To be a function the domain is -1<=x<=1 and the range
0<= y<=pi
Just change the name of the coordinates
Addition.If you don´t limit the range,for each x you get infinite y´s
and this is NOT a function

The domain is -1 to +1, the range is -infinity to +infinity. The graph is just like a cosine wave, except going up the Y-axis instead of the X-axis.

Domain: [-1,1]
Range: [0,pi]
Looks like half of one period of a cosine wave, mirrored about the line y=x
