Alrighty people. Just trying to do my summer homework packet, and I'm experiencing major brain fartage. It would seem as though I should just add 20 and 5 in the parenthesis, but in the back of my brain, I'm thinking I should dustribute the 'negative one', like 20-1(20+5) to make it 20-20-5. Please help me!

If we are to believe that our known universe started as a singularity - a point of zero dimension and infinite mass, is it the case that all the matter that surrounds us actually has no volume and that the particles that we observe at the sub atomic level are ultimately composed of nothing more than energy?

N2 + 3 H2 2 NH3
cannot proceed in a single-step elementary reaction. Select all that apply.

hello. i'm in the midst to register my second yr courses and i want to study geology. however, physics was not a requirement in my first year, but somehow i think it is very important. since i'm running out of time, i hope you guys can advise whether to take physics or not. here's the detail about the physics course i would like to take: topics include mechanics, waves, electricity and magnetism, fluid flow, thermal physics, and elements of wave-particle duality. so, does these topics relevant in becoming a successful petroleum geology??? many thanks

Find time in which C alone can fill the empty tank.

My Try:
upto 1hr, 1/4th of total work is done by 3pipes together. Then 3/4th of remaining work is done by A,B. So, 1/4(efficiency of ABC)+3/4(Eff. of AB)=1
So, 1/4(1/4)+3/4(1/8)=1 => 5/32=1...eh?

Where am i wrong? Tell me the related concept..

My sister asked me to research about this "golden pathway" in Chemistry. I have no idea what it is and I can't think of anywhere to search anymore.

I guess it has something to do with pathways...in Chem...or something. Please answer.^-^
