My favorite planet has to be Pluto, the dwarf planet. It is certainly intriguing to find its orbit slightly eccentric, resulting in an occasional distance slightly closer to the Sun than the planet Neptune. It has 3 moons, and the names are Charon, Nix, and Hydra. The former two are discovered by Pluto Research Team with the use of Hubble Space Telescope on 2005. It is not surprising to find Pluto's surface to be covered with ice. Alteration of the distance from the Sun changes much of its composition. For example, Pluto's ices sublimate into gas as it edges closer to our Sun. This creates a process similar to perspiration of our body to be what's called anti-greenhouse effect. Other facts to come about is that Pluto's size is found to be less than 1 percent that of Earth.

Besides Earth (or the planet in which we reside since if your on a different planet you call that one Earth) I think mars is my favorite although I'm not much of an astronomer myself. I wish I had time.

Pluto really intrigues me. Even though its technically a dwarf planet, its really cool.
Its the only terrestial planet past Mars, where as all others are Jovian. Its as big as our Moon, but still has 3 satelittes orbiting it (and maybe even more).
I cant wait till the New Horizons mission flys by it so we can learn more.

Saturn was cool until the car company ruined the name, Uranus has an obvious problem with its name, all the other planets suck which leaves EARTH as the officially best planet ever!

I presume that one should be mostly found of the one we're living on. But if we exclude Earth, I think that Uranus, with its 97.77 degree axial tilt, its faint rings, its blown apart and then reassembled moon Miranda, has just enough weirdness in a single body to warrant special status.
