R = { (1, 1), (2, 2), (2, 3), (2, 4), (3, 2), (3, 3), (3, 4) }

I know that this relation is transitive BUT I just want to make sure that this relation is really transitive. Having elements of ordered pairs (1, 1) and (2, 2) and (3, 3), do these elements affect transitivity? Is a relation a transitive relation if there are elements that satisfy the condition and there are other elements that do not satisfy the condition?

1) Most weather forecasts protest themselves very well by attaching probabilitiies to their forecasts, such as "The probability of rain today is 40%." Then, if a particular forecast is incorrect, you are expected to attribute the error to the random behavior of the weather rather than to the inaccuracy of the forecast. To check the accuracy of a particular forecast, records were checked only for those days when the forecast predicted rain "with 30% probability." A check of 25 of those days indicated that it rains on 10 of the 25. Do these datat disagree with the forecast of a "30% probability of rain"? Explain.

I am always hearing about how the hippo could kick any animal's *** and is the strongest animal and how no animal can take on a hippo. Do these people realize that there also Bull elephant still living in the wild. Commonsense would suggest to me that a bull elephant could easily scare off a hippo. There are also rhino's with the huge horn on the front of their snout, so I really don't know people consider the hippo to be able to kick any animal's ***. They say no animals will mess with the hippo and all this stuff about no animals wanting to get in a fight with the hippo.

I am having some math problems. Can someone please solve these questions with step-by-step answers:

Question: Use the substitution to solve each system of equations. If the system does not have exactly one solution, state whether it has no solution or infinitely many solutions.

3x-y= 4
2x-3y= -9

2.5x+y= -2
3x+2y= 0

x+4y= 8
2x-5y= 29

2x+2y= 7
x-27= -1

Thank you.
