Can anyone with any idea on how to answer this question show me and tell me how to answer inverse functions.

Which one of the following sets is a possible domain for the function with the rule f(x)=(x+3)-6 if the inverse functon is to exist?

A. R b. [6, infinite) c. (- infinite, 3] d. [6, inifnite)
E. (- infinite, 0)

Any help plz

i am a bit bewildered by your equation.

so you really mean f(x)=(x+3)-6? because then f[x]=x-3 and since it is a linear function, the domain is all Real numbers.
