My doubt is clear in the question. But still i need to add some more details. As we genetically mutate human genes and change characters, why can't we add a few characters of spider to become a spiderman?

Is it possible for a light to just turn off and on randomly at different times by itself?
I'm not really talking about flickering, more like if someone was just to turn the switch on and off, with pauses in between.
My boyfriend is experiencing really bizzare things with his room.
Such as seeing figures in the dark...
but tonight something really freaky happened. He was on his way home and he saw the light on in his room.
And then when he went into the house to go to his room, he opened the door and the light was off.
Now he said he made sure that the light was on that he saw from the window.. and he was sure that it was on. No one came in and turned it off or anything.

What do you guys think?
